early morning

i've been waking up early this past week so now when i can actually sleep in...i wake up at 7:30. Thank you internal clock. I am so horrible at keeping up with blogs. i think the reason i don't like posting stuff here is because i can't control who reads it. at least on facebook i can only add certain people and even then i'm super cautious. Technology is changing our culture and it's changing it quickly. its nice to know that God is still in control though. Sometimes when i see all the darkness in the world i get nervous and scared but then i remember what Jesus told us. Its found in John. Jesus is talking to his disciples about the big event that is coming up....his death on the cross. he tells them "i have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. but take heart, because i have overcome the world." (16:33, NLT). Also in John 14 verse 27, right before the first verse, Jesus says this..."i am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart. and the peace i give is a gift the world cannot give. so don't be troubled or afraid" (NLT). His word is alive today. It speaks straight to me and i love that. I love how amazing God is. i can't wait to fall on my face because i caught a glimpse of his.
